What challenge does the new ventas park address?

Lifting solutions for urban infrastructure projects

During the construction of the new Ventas Park over the M-30, we played an active role by supplying our heavy-duty mobile cranes, specialist technical teams, and extensive lifting engineering expertise. Our involvement included the erection of the main structural elements of the new infrastructure, from the installation of support columns to the lifting and placement of large precast beams.

The cranes involved in this project included:

• LTM 1095-5.1: Equipped with a dual winch system, this crane was responsible for installing the support columns, each weighing approximately 25 tonnes, carrying out both the upending and placement of the structural elements.
• LTM 1500-8.1 and LTM 1650-8.1: Used for the installation of beams weighing around 120 tonnes.
• LTM 1650-8.1 and LTM 1750-9.1: Deployed for the lifting and installation of beams weighing up to 184 tonnes, performing some of the most complex and demanding lifting operations of the entire project.
• LTM 1750-9.1: Also used for the assembly of beams weighing approximately 130 tonnes.
• MK 140-5.1: Assigned to the installation and positioning of the structural slab elements.

One of the main challenges of this project was the need to carry out a significant portion of the work during night-time hours. This approach helped minimise disruption to traffic and reduce the impact on the thousands of drivers who use the M-30 every day, one of Spain’s busiest roadways. Careful logistical coordination, detailed lift planning, and the adaptability of our teams were key factors in the successful execution of the project.
